Buhari, Atiku, Olamide, Other Prominent Nigerians React To Plateau Carnage
For once, the interests of many prominent Nigerians are aligned, and it is due to the recent carnage in Plateau state championed by armed men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
While it is reported that over 100 persons have lost their lives on Saturday, the police is putting the death toll at 86.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari, former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, singer Olamide among others have taken to social media to express condolence to the affected communities.
The grievous loss of lives & property arising from the killings in Plateau today is painful and regrettable. My deepest condolences to the affected communities. We will not rest until all murderers and criminal elements and their sponsors are incapacitated and brought to justice.

Also, the presidency, via Twitter, called for calm, while assuring the people that all efforts would be put in place to avoid a repeat of the incident.
